Testimonials

My time with Enota has been a resting, nesting, nurturing for my body and soul. The deep listening ability and true desire to be of skillful service from each and every member of Enota's staff helped to make my time here an experience of being supported and cared about in a uniquely special way. The land, the trees and the amazing, graceful, life sustaining water combine with such conscious example of living in harmony with our Earth that each guest feels the invitation to reconnect in a deeper way with our awe-inspiring planet. I appreciate Suan and all of the 'people of Enota' for preserving and sharing this "little piece of heaven" and all of it's joyful, life enhancing energy.  - Tyree Beaton

Thank you for sharing Nature in all of its splendor - cascading waterfalls, fresh pure drinking water, bright sun and blue sky, vibrant green gardens, welcoming smiles, and lots of love.  Your mission and commitment to sustainability is truly inspiring. - Stephanie Fish

I had a wonderful experience at Enota.  Everything at the retreat center was energizing, rejuvenating, uplifting, and full of spirit - the sound of water all around, the people, the living spaces, and the meals.  Enota became a space for us to feel safe and comfortable, to share, laugh, learn, and heal.  I felt my heart open up more. - Sapna Chand

We had a wonderful time enjoying the fall weather and many outdoor activities at Enota. I chaperoned an FCA retreat that included 60 high school students. The students thoroughly enjoyed the working farm (including milking a cow, playing with bunnies and petting miniature ponies). There was plenty to keep everyone entertained. Highlights of our trip included a bonfire and roasting marshmallows, hiking to the 200 and 400 foot tall waterfalls, jumping on the outdoor trampolines, and eating some delicious meals. Swan was the most gracious hostess! As an environmental teacher I even learned a lot about organic gardening and raising animals. - Westminster School

I've come to Enota five times in two years and loved it each time. I've come as a chaperone with a school group to experience the farm and camping away from parents for the first time. The food was fabulous and catered to our tastes. The farm provided work, play, and adventure. The stream gave a safe place for the children to play freely for hours. The trail to the Appalachian Trail provided an extreme adventure that precludes a longer AT trip. Brasstown Bald afforded a memorable and powerful side trip for this group from the Waldorf School of Atlanta. One of my best memories of the trip was standing atop Brasstown Bald listening to the class recite their morning verse. It brought tears to my eyes! - Waldorf School

I have never experienced such hospitality, warmth, generosity, and love at a retreat center.  Thank you for enabling us to create a sacred space for reflection, growth, and community building. -  Aditi Sethi

As a ropes course trainer I have been to many retreat facilities - Enota operates at a whole different level!  The land is sacred and alive.  Fresh pure mountain water is abundant.  Cabins and retreat houses are modern and clean.  The staff is real and very accommodating. - Michelle Sissine

Many thanks to your hard working staff for accommodating our group of women with such grace & ease.  We truly felt at home at Enota and were able to concentrate on our spiritual work (without ever having to be hungry!).  Good luck to you! - Jen Kitzenberg
